Nashville, TN, onFebruary 15th, 2009 – Megan Lopez, founder of LiveOrganicBaby.com has just launched a new website. Full of articles and products aimed at helping new and expectant mothers who want to bring up their children with a healthy organic lifestyle. Megan, who has cared for over fifteen children, has a passion to help children grow up to be healthy and aware of the environment. A big environmentalist herself, Megan saw this website as an opportunity to be able to provide information to parents about the environment and their children’s health. With childhood obesity rising to more than 17% of children ages 2-17, Megan knew something needed to change, and that change starts with parents. You can find organic recipes for the baby and whole family. Hoping that by having healthy habits instilled in them from birth, it will create a lifetime of healthy living for children in a green home.
Megan is not an expert but her passion for children and desire to make an impact has led her to the development of this website. “I want to be considered the “go between” the experts and getting the information out to parents so they can easily have tools to learn at their fingertips to raise their children the best way possible.” The website is available in over ten different languages in hopes of reaching multiple cultures to create a global change in the health of children and our environment.
Megan who is currently a student at Belmont University is a majoring in Entrepreneurship. There she is provided with the tools to help make her business a success. In February 2008, Ms. Lopez was a finalist on Ideablob for the concept of LiveOrganicBaby.com. Her hopes for the future are to open an environmentally friendly daycare that instills these practices in the children.
